Automatic vs. Manual Transmission
Not sure which to choose? Here's a quick guide.
Automatic Transmission
- Easier to learn — no clutch pedal
- Ideal for city and heavy traffic driving
- Most modern cars in the Philippines are automatic
- Recommended for beginners and refresher students
Manual Transmission
- Full control over gear shifting
- More fuel-efficient at highway speeds
- Required for some commercial and utility vehicles
- Gives you flexibility to drive any vehicle
We recommend discussing your goals with your instructor before choosing. Both options are available for all lesson types.
